Environmental Control with adVOCAte

adVOCAte+ includes trainable infrared which can learn IR codes and operate a wide range of Home Entertainment Equipment. It also has a library of infrared codes to operate a wide range of third party Environmental Control peripherals.

It has library codes for GEWA Jupiter and SRS Intelliphone adapted telephones, GEWA DuoCom intercom systems, GEWA, Possum, and X-10 mains controllers, and all Possum peripherals. It also provides posture control via the optional Control Module, and computer access and operation of remote alarms via the optional Link Module.

adVOCAte can be upgraded to adVOCAte+ to provide these functions.

Home Entertainment Equipment

adVOCAte+ can learn the infrared command codes of a wide range of Home Entertainment Equipment, and then operate them from adVOCAte+ instead of from their own remote control.

Mains & Lighting

adVOCAte+ contains the infrared codes to operate GEWA, Possum, and X-10 mains controllers, and also X-10 Lighting controllers.

Phone

adVOCAte+ contains the infrared codes to operate GEWA's Jupiter adapted phone, Possum's Phone, and SRS's Intelliphone adapted phone.

Intercom/Door Openers

adVOCAte+ contains the infrared codes to operate GEWA's Duocom Intercom system.

Posture Control

adVOCAte+ can provide posture control via the optional Control Module.

Computer Control

adVOCAte+ can provide wire-free access to a computer via the optional Link Module. This requires appropriate 1-switch or 2-switch scanning software on the computer.
