This is a free-standing module which has two relay-isolated outputs,
each providing both Normally Open and Normally Closed contacts. It is
mains-powered and has backup batteries to provide more than 4 hours
operation in the event of a power cut.
It can activate the transmitters of local, remote, and nurse-call alarms.
It may also be used to provide wire-free connection to a PC for computer access.
It is operated by an infrared link from adVOCAte+
