Hello, my name is Nathan and I am 17 years old.

I have Apert’s Syndrome which gives me some difficulties, one being my speech. I have some speech but sometimes it is not clear and I cannot be understood.

I have had my Lightwriter for 10 months now and think it’s great. I need my Lightwriter all the time as it helps me to talk and interact with people.

The best thing about my Lightwriter is people can now understand me and realise I have a lot to say for myself. I can now independently order my own food and drink in a café and talk to lots of different people which I really like.

I have recently been to Communication Matters, I had a great time and enjoyed meeting the Toby Churchill Ltd team especially John who always makes me laugh. The team put a new base plate on my Lightwriter so I can carry it much better. I really like Toby Churchill Ltd and would like to thank them for all their support and look forward to working with the team in the future.
