Toby Churchill Ltd congratulates Janet Smart on her fundraising efforts for the Motor Neurone Disease Association

Toby Churchill Ltd would like to congratulate Janet Smart for her efforts in supporting the Cambridge branch of the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

Janet’s husband, Tony, was a well known and popular volunteer fireman for over 30 years in the Cambridgeshire area, before he was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease.  Tony used a Lightwriter® SL35 until Tony sadly passed away 18 months ago.

Inspired by her late husband, Janet formed a committee in order to raise money for the MNDA coordinating events such as a sponsored slim, coffee mornings, raffles and selling home grown tomatoes. 
The result of this fundraising meant that she was able to purchase a Lightwriter® SL40 specifically to donate to the Cambridge Branch of the MNDA on Wednesday 4th August at the fire station in Ramsey where Tony worked.
