Toby Churchill Ltd is delighted to announce the date of our Open Day on Wednesday 10th November 2010.  The factory, based in Cambridgeshire will be throwing open it's doors to the public from 11am until 3pm.  During the day you will be able to enjoy a tour of the factory; see where the Lightwriter^® is designed and built and meet the people that make it all possible.  We hope to see you there!

Barry recently attended the ISAAC 2010 conference in Barcelona.

Whilst there, he gave a fascinating speech about how AAC is used every day in his life, and his experiences using the Lightwriter^® SL40.

Toby Churchill Ltd would like to congratulate Janet Smart for her efforts in supporting the Cambridge branch of the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

Janet’s husband, Tony, was a well known and popular volunteer fireman for over 30 years in the Cambridgeshire area, before he was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease.  Tony used a Lightwriter® SL35 until Tony sadly passed away 18 months ago.

The team at Toby Churchill Ltd were delighted to hear about the award given to the company’s president, Toby Churchill on the 22nd June 2010.

Toby received from Bath University an honorary Doctor of Engineering degree at a private ceremony that was filmed and later shown on the 1st July at the University of Bath presentation ceremony.
