Afasic England

Afasic England in association with The Communication Trust, is holding a series of events during March 2012. This first event will be held at The Rose Bowl in Southampton, and aims to draw together a wide audience most likely to benefit from raising awareness of speech, language and communication needs, whilst encouraging the sharing of good practice and collaborative working.

East of England Stroke Forum

The East of England Stroke Forum aim to bring current news, views and debate to health professionals with an interest in stroke and also to bring together those with experience and those needing to tap into that experience. The forum hosts an annual conference which features a wide choice of sessions across three different strands - Acute Medical, Rehab and Commisioning. For the first time in 2012, the forum will be hosting it's own Excellence in Stroke Care Awards.

 

Laryngectomy Conference

Cambridgeshire speech & language therapy departments are holding a laryngectomy conference for patients, on 16th March 2012 at Great Shelford Rugby Club. 

This will be an opportunity for laryngectomy patients to meet other patients, their families and carers, and hear about new products, developments and available treatments. 

Afasic England

Afasic England in association with The Communication Trust, is holding a series of events during March 2012. This event will be held at Durham University Campus, and aims to draw together a wide audience most likely to benefit from raising awareness of speech, language and communication needs, whilst encouraging the sharing of good practice and collaborative working.

Our Product Advisor Vernon Jones will be available to demonstrate AAC products such as the Lightwriter® Swift.

Communication Matters Road Show

Communication Matters Road Shows give attendees the opportunity to keep up to date with the latest advances in the field of AAC. These are interactive days supported and presented by the UK's leading suppliers of communication aids, equipment and symbol systems. Each day consists of five sessions which provide information and offer up-to-date knowledge on the range of AAC equipment and services available in the UK.
