VocaFlex

Toby Churchill Limited distributes the VocaFlex range manufactured by our Norwegian distributor FalckVital.

An easy to use, portable digital recording communication aid, the VocaFlex uses a unique means of storing messages on interchangeable overlays. It comes in a range of models with varying recording time and key linking ability. The VocaFlex can only be operated by direct access and therefore does demand a reasonable level of hand function

SmartGuides

SmartGuides are the removable keyguards on which the overlay is attached.

Each overlay is identified by a bar code on the back so, as the overlay is changed, the VocaFlex identifies the vocabulary set for that overlay and selects it automatically.

Easy to change SmartGuides

SmartGuides are held magnetically on the VocaFlex making them very simple and quick to change.

If they have the cognitive ability and dexterity, the user can change the SmartGuides themselves to change the overlays and vocabulary sets to suit their needs.

Flexible location layout

SmartGuides are available in 4, 8, & 16 locations.

Variable recording time

The three models of VocaFlex have different recording times from 30 minutes up to 120 minutes. The maximum length of any message is 20 seconds.

Optional key-linking

The VocaFlex Black offers the additional feature of key-linking messages, enabling two cells to be linked to expand the message potential of a SmartGuide.

Low battery Indicator

The charging LED blinks when the battery capacity is down to 25%.

Long battery life

The VocaFlex uses an internal rechargeable lithium battery.

The device has very a low standby current, so that the battery can last for up to 80 days between charges.
